no prior notice before starting the final assessment quiz

I was directed to the questions on clicking the final assessment tab unlike the 9 quizzes which had a tab before the start of quiz to alert those giving the test. i was not prepared was in the process of learning and watching the remaining videos. i had to go back, complete the videos and come again but by then the time ran out for which i thought the quiz might resume again with a score of 0%. do i have any chance of attempting the quiz? i haven't read any question.
